Laurie Kenagy has been involved with the Western Connecticut Youth Orchestra organization for more than twenty years, as member of the WCYO Board of Directors and as Executive Director.  She has also been the Executive Director of the Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra, a fully professional regional orchestra, since 2016. 

 

Laurie has an undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MBA from Duke University.  She has professional experience in investment banking, marketing, and arts administration, as well as extensive volunteer experience with numerous non-profit organizations.
